I love this bed. I have scoliosis so I used to have lower back pain when sleeping on my back, its gone now. The medium mattress is firm enough yet flexible enough for any sleeper. I sleep mainly on my side but when I don't feel good I sleep on my back. This bed fits either need and my allergies don't act up when sleeping on it. With my old mattress I woke up stuffy with puffy eyes. This bed is a blessing.

We not only LOVE our Joybed mattress but working with representatives of the company was a great experience. It's been a long time since I enjoyed talking to someone at the other end of an 800 number. Consistently helpful, genuinely friendly and interested in how they could help make our experience a positive one. The mattress is everything we hoped it would be, and more. With it, we're sleeping better than we have in ages and keep feeling younger every day because of it. Thank you Joybed Team!

We spent a few thousand $$$ on a Stearns and Foster mattress, and right after we had it a year I figured out it was giving me shoulder pain (found out the hard way that I can not use memory foam). We bought the joybed mattress with the organic mattress cover and it’s been heavenly sleeping since then!!!!! Highly recommend it!!!

My Joybed twin mattress is awesome. It is the most affordable sustainably crafted mattress I could find and it’s very comfy. I can feel the springs, but they don’t bother me. I enjoy knowing that I’m sleeping on something that will biodegrade after I die. I am giving 4 stars for a few small things: a) feeling the springs, b) a not so helpful customer service experience, and c) the tons of plastic the mattress came in. I understand that it may be a necessary evil for vacuum packing and shipping the mattress in a compact way, but I think there should be a way that the plastic could be sent back to Joybed and reused or recycled.
Overall awesome mattress that you should consider buying.

We wanted a natural/organic bed for our 11 year old son that is 5' 7" and still growing. Purchased a queen LX mattress as about three months later, it is wonderful. You feel the springinyness of the bed but it does not really affect others when you move or get on the bed etc..

We did have a difficult shipping and post delivery customer service experience. most of it was due to ROUTE, a third party shipping tracker of some sort. Getting a hold of someone and having the issues cured was almost impossible. If I wasn't in customer service myself and a patient person, this order would have not been completed.
Once things were worked out, about two or three weeks later, I did feel as though Joybed made an effort to keep us happy. Four stars is based on the quality and comfort of the bed, In most cases, the custmer service would have lost them another star but, they are not a global mega corporation. I understand and hope we were an anomaly.

I am glad I read some reviews and did not get the softer one. I love my mattress :)

This bed turned out to be even better than the old-fashioned inner-spring mattress. Great support, quick response, total comfort. I purchased three!

I'm sleeping so much better on the Joybed LX. It reminds me of how beds used to feel; just firm enough with just enough cushion. I no longer wake up stiff and sore and no more allergies. It makes me look forward to bedtime!
